Helpful hotel staff, excellent breakfast, free private parking, clean rooms.
Location might be a concern for those travelling to Cinque Terre. But if you have a car it is not a problem.

This hotel offers great value for money. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with attention to detail such as a balcony overlooking the pretty garden. The location is fantastic, with the beach just a stone's throw away.
All was excellent, couldn't ask for more.

It's a beautiful hotel with a private parking place. On a quiet location not far from the beach (about 300 metres). The room and bathroom were good and clean. We had a room with balcony with a view on the mountains which was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice and great capucino.

The staff was excellent, very friendly and always willing to help. Would definitely stay there again if I go to Tuscany !
Chairs on balcony can be renewed, it was all the time a bit of a gamble if they would "survive"

Amazing views from the room and delicious breakfast which reminded us of home. The early check-in was a pleasant surprise too. The hotel's location was perfect for our city trip, there were many bars and restaurants within walking distance. We also enjoyed the convenience of the free parking space.
The room was quite small with only one workspace. However, considering the affordable price, it was reasonable.

The owner and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were not there during peak season and ate at other locations.

Clean room. Newer bathroom.
Outdated hotel. Not working balcony door. Loud - could hear what was happening in the corridor. Mediocre tasteless breakfast. No mosquito nets on the windows.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly, always willing to help with a smile. the breakfast had a great selection of food and drinks to choose from. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants and shops nearby. We also enjoyed the comfortable beds and clean rooms.
The rooms are a bit small and cramped, and could definitely use more space. the air conditioning unit was a bit old and noisy.

Very nice hotel, in a central location in Marina di Massa (even if the closest public - free - beach is 3kms from the hotel, guests can rent bikes at the hotel for free so not a concern). Rooms very clean with a pleasant decoration, balcony with a view on the mountains as an advantage. Staff very helpful, they called for us a boat trips company in Cinque Terre to get some information upfront on the fares and schedules. On several occasions, they offered us to take a coffee at the lounge bar (not just during the breakfast time) and, last but not least, gave us an olive oil bottle when we departed :)
Only drawback I would see was we had during our stay massive groups of guests (implying lots of loud chats and laughters till late in the evening in the garden of the hotel) and this prevented us from sleeping early the day before our departure (as we had to hit the road very early for a long trip).
